England fast bowler Chris Tremlett has been ruled out of the third Test against India, starting from tomorrow at Edgbaston, following a back injury the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed Tuesday.

Tremlett picked up a hamstring strain during the first Test at Lords and missed the second clash at Trent Bridge, after which Tim Bresnan replaced him and played a key role in his side’s 319 runs victory with his superlative all-round performance.
